Adeline LaPlante Center The Adeline LaPlante Memorial Center (ALMC) provides persons with developmental disabilities with the necessary skills and support that will enable them to realize their personal goals of becoming effective members of their community

Children's Friend Children's Friend provides services to support and strengthen children and families. Services include adoption, adoption support and preservation, birth parent counseling, child and adult care food program, child care, CHILDSPAN, Dads Making A Difference, Early Head Start, Early Intervention, Family Counseling, Family Support Drop In Centers, Family Care Community Partnership, First Connections, Foster Care, Head Start, Partners in Permanency, Project Connect and WIC.

Alcohol and Substance Assistance

RI Al_Anon Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of those who feel their lives have been deeply affected by someone else's drinking. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend.


Caritas House/ Corkery House Caritas offers a variety of substance abuse treatment programs and prevention services.

The Providence CenterThe Providence Center is one of Rhode Island's largest community mental health centers. The Providence Center provides services to adults, adolescents and children who are experiencing mental health, substance abuse and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
